ISLAMABAD: Death toll from the novel coronavirus rose to nine in the country after another fatality was registered in Punjab on Thursday, with 1,179 people infected.
According to data uploaded to the live dashboard of the Ministry of Health, the situation in Sindh remains the most bleak, with 421 cases registered, followed by Punjab (394), Balochistan (131), Gilgit-Baltistan (84), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (123), AJK (1), and Islamabad (25).
