ISLAMABAD: Pakistani boxer of British descent Amir Khan has announced that he would donate Rs40 million to Pakistan to help counter the novel coronavirus. Khan also agreed to use his Islamabad boxing academy as quarantine for patients suffering from coronavirus.
Earlier, boxer Amir Khan had offered four storeyed buildings to give his 60,000 square foot to help people afflicted by the British coronavirus. The boxer took to Instagram and posted a picture of the same building at the back and said, "I know how difficult it is for the public in this terrible time to get a hospital bed."
He added, "I'm prepared to offer my 60,000 square foot 4-story house, which is intended to be a wedding hall and retail outlet to support coronavirus sufferers."
